State Activities

May 5, 2008 marked the Second Annual Denali Awards Ceremony to recognize peak performance of state employees.

Despite the wind and rain, which necessitated moving the event from the south lawn of the Capitol Building into the Truman State Office Building, the 2008 State Employee Recognition Week was once again a great success!

To recognize the invaluable contribution of commonwealth employees, on May 5, 2008 Governor Rendell announced the recipients of the Governor's Awards for Excellence and praised all state employees for their dedication to public service during a ceremony held in their honor.
