The Governor's LEAD Conference is one of the largest conferences of its kind in the region, and largest in the state. We are excited to host this year’s event virtually, allowing attendees from all over to participate in the conference from any digital device. Throughout the Conference, attendees will discover new ways to think about diversity initiatives and hear from a powerful line-up of speakers addressing topics of unconscious bias, LGBTQ+ rights, diversity best practices within the legal and educational sectors, ADA inclusivity and more.

Who will be there?

The two-day conference will be moderated by Renee Shaw (KET Public Affairs Managing Producer and Host) and will feature an all-star lineup of regional panelists and speakers from both the private and public sectors. Join us for opening remarks from Governor Andy Beshear, an inspirational keynote speech from Karim R. Ellis, founder of Empowered Education and a special presentation by Dr. Roszalyn M. Akins, Executive Director of the Black Males Working Academy.
