The State Government Workforce Issues Group will share its report as well as suggestions on how to communicate these challenges to government leadership. 2:15 pm – 2:30 pm Break 2:30 pm – 3:20 pm Preparing for a Gubernatorial Transition With 36 state gubernatorial elections in 2018, state governments will be preparing for gubernatorial transitions. Veteran NASPE members will share transition experiences and identify what you need to know and what you need to be thinking about during this busy time. 3:20 pm – 3:30 pm Break 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm HR Directors Roundtable During this closed-door session, state members will discuss current challenges in state government HR and strategies for moving forward.
