There are a number of challenges state governments face to recruit and retain top talent. What are the roadblocks these roadblocks and, more importantly, what are some solutions to overcoming them? The State Government Workforce Issues Group will share its report as well as suggestions on how to communicate these challenges to government leadership.

With 36 state gubernatorial elections in 2018, state governments will be preparing for gubernatorial transitions. Veteran NASPE members will share transition experiences and identify what you need to know and what you need to be thinking about during this busy time.
